I was able to visit this little library while visiting Elkins West Virginia in the summer of 2017.
Although quiet and dark, it was very cozy. I was surprised with the beautiful detailed woodwork on the front door.
The building inside was very dated. I noticed that a lot of the books available here were pretty old with no "just arrived" section that I could find. No children scurried around the small children's area. Only two other adults were here other than the couple of staff members. The adults were reading newspapers. I fear the newspaper were the only modern/up to date choices in the library.
I took a picture of this fountain because it reminded me of the school fountains in my elementary school.
I did manage to find a book to settle in with for a while.
I enjoyed this library but it really showed that the county it sits doesn't have the resources that the citizens deserve.
Until Next Time.
